The unmissable event for decoration, design and lifestyle in Paris

The Event A story of a neighborhood,
of creativity and encounters

Some places naturally inspire creativity. The Rive Gauche has always cultivated a distinctive art of living, where galleries, publishing houses, workshops, literary cafés and iconic interior design destinations come together. A neighborhood where people take the time to look, exchange ideas, discover and create.

It is in this spirit that Paris Déco Home Rive Gauche takes place.

2027 Edition A neighborhood
where interior design comes to life

Every January, leading names in interior design come together to welcome professionals and enthusiasts and unveil their new collections. Based in the showrooms that bring the neighborhood to life throughout the year, publishers, designers and arts and crafts professionals welcome interior architects, decorators, contract professionals, specifiers, journalists and design enthusiasts from France and around the world.
Here, discovery takes on a whole new dimension. Collections are not displayed in an exhibition center; they are revealed in the very places where they come to life. Along the streets of the 6th and 7th arrondissements, visitors move from one address to another, step inside a showroom, cross a cobbled courtyard, discover a private mansion or explore a pop-up space. Each visit offers a new perspective, and every encounter sparks inspiration.

This close connection with the design houses is what makes the event so distinctive. It offers a different way to experience interior design: more freely, more intimately, through an ongoing dialogue between the collections, the people who create them and the unique atmosphere of the Rive Gauche.

An identity deeply rooted in the Rive Gauche

More than a professional event, Paris Déco Home Rive Gauche celebrates a particular vision of interior design: open-minded, discerning and deeply rooted in a neighborhood where creativity has always been expressed with freedom.

“The Rive Gauche is as much an energy as it is a place. It is this creative vitality, this ability never to stand still and to constantly reinvent itself, that we want to bring to the 2027 edition. Here, interior design is not simply displayed: it is brought to life and reinterpreted.” — Carole Locatelli & Hughes Charuit

The Theme The Left Bank Sets the Tempo

In 2027, music becomes the guiding theme of Paris Déco Home Rive Gauche. More than a theme, it becomes a shared language, inviting each participating House to interpret the same creative score in its own unique way.

A Creative Score Across the Neighbourhood

Just as a piece of music is built around rhythm, harmony and variations, decoration creates its own sense of balance. Materials respond to light, colours enter into dialogue, and volumes create a rhythm. Every interior conveys an emotion, while every collection interprets its own score.

Throughout the streets of the Left Bank, this inspiration comes to life in window displays, scenographies, installations and special events created by the participants. A musical atmosphere accompanies visitors as they explore the neighbourhood, filling it with an elegant, joyful and creative energy.

As a place where the arts have long come together, the Left Bank has always encouraged dialogue between literature, design, architecture, music and craftsmanship. This edition naturally continues that tradition, inviting visitors to discover an approach to decoration that is as much about experiencing it as it is about seeing it.

The Route A Stroll to Shape as You Please

There is no single route for discovering Paris Déco Home Rive Gauche.

Every visit is different. Some visitors return to the Houses they already know, while others prefer to be surprised by a window display, a façade or an address discovered while wandering down a street.

On foot, from one street to the next, the visit unfolds naturally. Some may choose to follow an itinerary planned in advance, while others will prefer to wander and stop wherever a material, a play of light or a scenography catches their eye. This freedom is an essential part of the experience, inviting everyone to discover the Left Bank at their own pace.

From Saint-Germain-des-Prés to the Bac/Université neighbourhood, each address reveals its own world, expertise and a new way of imagining decoration.
The interactive map allows visitors to plan their route, locate the participating Houses and organise their visit according to their interests. But once there, the most memorable discoveries are often the ones that were never planned.
